Ofe Okazi

Ofe Okazi (or Ukazi Soup) is a rich, flavorful Nigerian vegetable soup from Eastern Nigeria, known for its distinctive slightly bitter taste from Okazi (Gnetum africanum) leaves, balanced by other greens like Uziza or Ugu, thickened with Achi, Ofo, or Ukpo, and packed with assorted meats (beef, goat, stockfish, etc.) and seafood, often served for celebrations and guests, enjoyed with swallows like Pounded Yam or Fufu.
